she's got her own style

Charlotte dresses herself 90% of the time. Before she turned two she would try to pull on her pants and put on her shirt all by herself. Most of the time it would result in a huge meltdown because she couldn't physically put her shirt on all by herself. She wanted the independence but was not ready for it yet. I do not concern myself with matching (see above picture) unless we are going to an important event, and sometimes I lay clothes out on the sofa for church Sunday morning. This doesn't bother her because she gets to choose most of the time and I try not to make a big deal of it.

Oh, and the belt on her head is her tiara - brilliant!

She also chose Lila's clothes for the first time today. Should be interesting when Lila wants to choose her own!

How do you deal with clothes, matching, and personal style when it comes to your kids?
